SPRINGBOK TESTS
Telecast Time Criticised (N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, May 30. The Waikato Rugby Union’s management committee has voted in favour of a protest to the N.Z.B.C. on the time of the delayed telecasts of this season’s tests against South Africa. The committee considered the corporation should find a time on Sunday more suitable to farmers than 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mr J. Mackenzie said members of Parliament should be asked for their assistance. “It is amazing what pressure can be brought to bear in these directions,” he said. “The point to remember is the N.Z.B.C. is our servant, not our master.”
