PRODUCTION AT FACTORY

(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON, May 30. Production at the Dixon street factory of General Plastics (N.Z.) Ltd-, in Masterton would resume on Monday, the general manager of the Company, Mr E. J. Mandel, of Wellington, said yesterday. The factory premises, which were the subject of scientific tests this Week, had been “unconditionally cleared,” Mr Mandel said. Part production in an undamaged section of the factory was resumed, but all activity was suspended again last Satuday after reports of a recurrence of a gas smell around the building.
