WAIMAIRI RESERVES
£92,295 Paid In Year The Waimairi County Council paid £92,295 out of its lan(4 subdivisim fund in the year ended March 31 to buy land and develop existing reserves, according to the annual report, presented to the council. The fund, which comes from money paid by subdivides, last year found £60,628 as the council’s share of the Jellie park swimming pool, a Golden Kiwi grant of £25,000 meeting the rest of the total cost, to date, of £85.626. The report said that the council had bought for £7500 a 12-acre block in Withells road which would be developed as a recreation reserve. The subdivision fund opened the year £101,600 in credit, and ended the year at £61,408.
