Lost All In Fire

AUCKLAND, February 26. The occupant of a seeondstorey room in a boarding house in Parnell road lost everything but the clothes he slept in when a fire broke out at 2 a.m. today. He is Mr I. Kanara. Two other men living in the same building Were woken by a passer-by and they threw buckets of water into the room until the fire brigade arrived. The fire was under control in 15 minutes.
