CLUB-ROOMS FOR R.S.A.

Executive To Discuss Plan

The question of building club premises in the south Chirstchurch area had been considered by the Christchurch R.S.A. clubroom trustees, said the president (Mr D. Barrett) yesterday. Their report and recommendations would be considered by the executive of the association at its next meeting.

Mr Barrett was commenting on a news item in “The Press” which said the South Christchurch committee of the R.S.A. would build its new club-rooms and hall in Waltham road if it could raise £1232. The total cost is expected to be about £15,000.
