STRIPPERS WANT SHORTER WEEK

(NZ.P.A.-Keuter—Copyright) LONDON, February 4. Striptease girls in London’s Soho are planning to form a trade union. More than 100 strippers in 20 basement clubs will be asked to join the union, aimed at securing a basic wage and a shorter stripping week. Eleven girls, who worked a 12-hour day, seven days a week, alternating between three small dubs, kept their clothes on in a one-day strike on Monday.
