Riccarton Riders
The former Riccarton jockey N. Eastwood will come south to ride at the Canterbury Jockey Club's two-day meeting, which opens next Saturday. Eastwood will ride Pomare, Canadiana, Delago, Mastiff, and Caplin on Saturday. Te Aro, a stablemate of Pomare, and an acceptor for the Craven Plate, will be ridden by the trainer, C. A. Bowry. Other riding engagements include:— E. G. Low: Colonel’s Lady, Aoudo, Sir Llmond, Depending Andalusia, Castle Flight. F H. Skelton: Royal Bid, Mister Bud, Approval, Messmaid, Tuscus. D. N. Hadfield: Morris Francis, Status Symbol, Mutch, General Gilbert, Co®eta, Leslie Bell, Town Talk. A. J. Stokes-: Standout, Caprino, Hushaway, Port Bank. P. Daly: We Wood, Benerva, Glenmist, Coral Prince, Margaret York. L. McGuire: Dowmanca, Walhalla, Seeaysee, Play Fairer, Up and Under. N. Cowles: Zinder. J. R. Dowling: Big Smoke, Llanmai, Petite Arnie, Blue Bayou. C. T. Wilson: Tumble, Scuffle, Misjudge, Summer Lad. B. Collins: Reef, Dipmate, Gilpey. F. H. Pope: Clipper. M. J. Wildermoth: Hon Roddy, Apache, Knight's Review, Fairayne. A. Swanson: Watama, Sirtax. R. O. Cairns: The Slug.
