Congolese Problems

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BRUSSELS, February 3. The Congolese Prime Minister, Mr Tshombe, and the Belgian Minister for Technical Assistance, Mr Maurice Brasseur. have been discussing Belgium’s aid to the Congo.

The talks are on three ain points:

The Congolese Governments cancellation of Belgian companies’ rights to grant mining and land concessions in the Congo and the ownership of these companies' shares; The Congo Government’s public debt of 900 million dollars;

The position and safety of the Congo’s 30,000 Belgian nationals.

PRESCRIPTIONS filled under Britain’s national health service are now free. The Government has abolished the 2s charge made in 1952.
