Brooch Versatile Piece Of Jewellery

An elegant piece of jewellery is an essential part of every woman’s wardrobe and an attractive brooch has the greatest number of uses.

• It is suitable for all kinds pf occasions, whether pinned at the neckline of a dress or blouse, or on the shoulder or at the waist of an evening dress. A brooch is also a charming decoration for a hat and always looks elegant on a coat lapel. Because of its great versatility and adaptability to all kinds of clothes a brooch has become the most popular kind of costume jewellery. The Czechoslovakian jewel-

lery collection comprises a wide range of designs in brooches ranging from the classical round and oval shapes to the stone brooches. The Czechoslovakians have found the most fashionable colours today are black, and black diamond which are sometimes combined with crystal. Smoky topaz, montana topaz and sapphire, are also popular. Sparkling crystal brooches are most suitable for winter, especially for party dresses and on that “little black dress.” The appealing freshness of pastel coloured brooches makes them ideal for spring and summer wear.
