Values Of Glue Timber
(N.Z. Press Association) Rotorua, Jan. 19. An improved glue was the key to the better utilisation of timber, Dr. R. A. Blomquist, a United States Forest Service research chemist, said in Rotorua today. “The adhesive can make small pieces of timber into larger ones, combine different pieces and produce timber so bonded that it is stronger than what you had to start with,” he said. He is keen to visit timber plants here to see the manufacture of plywood and laminated timber.
