(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 19. Mr K. L. Press has been appointed Minister and senior trade adviser to the New Zealand High Commissioner in London.
He has been deputy head of mission in the New Zealand mission to the European Economic Community at Brussels.

Woodward, who has been commercial counsellor and senior trade commissioner in London since December, 1961, will succeed Mr Press as Minister and deputy head of the New Zealand mission to the European Economic Community. Mr Marshall said it was intended Mr Woodward would also have responsibility for trade promotion activities in Belgium, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, functions which had hitherto been carried out under the direction of the London office. Mr Woodward would also continue to represent New Zealand at meetings of the Food and Agricultural Organisation, with which he had had a long association.
Announcing the new appointment today, the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall) said that in his new capacity Mr Press would have special responsibility for New Zealand trade interests in G.A.T.T. and in the continuing organs of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
