53 JERSEY BREEDERS

Northland Visit Soon (N.Z. Press Association) WHANGAREI, January 19. Fifty-three Jersey cattle breeders from overseas will visit Northland from January 28 to February 1. They are members of the World Jersey Bureau which is to hold its fifth annual conference at Hamilton from February 7 to 17. The leader of the party is the bureau chairman, the Earl of Jersey. The president of the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders’ Association, Mr J. A. Moreland, of Cambridge, and the association managingsecretary, Mr G. Dawick, will accompany the party.

Mr Moreland is also vicepresident of the World Jersey Bureau. On January 29 the visitors will go to Waitangi and from there will be taken on launch trips to Russell and other historic places and will stay the night at the Waitangi Hotel.
