Oil, Mineral Rights Record

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) ALBERTA Canada. The Province of Alberta, in western Canada, has set up a new record for cash earned from selling oil and mineral rights. A recent sale of 33,100,000 dollars worth of rights put Alberta over the record. So far this year the Alberta Treasury Board has received 87,230,000 dollars from selling oil and mineral rights. The previous record, set in 1956, was 72,600,000 dollars.
