I WELLINGTON, Dec. 21. I An Auckland school teaI cher, Denis Stephenson, | hobbled triumphantly into [Wellington on Saturday, his record-breaking run completed. Accompanied by an athletics coach, Mr A. Lydiard, for most of the way, Stephenson achieved his aim of running from Auckland to Wellington in seven days. I He arrived at 1.30 p.m., [setting a time of six days [and seven and a-half hours. ! His average of 60 miles a [day enabled him to run well [under the eight-day record set by Max Telford a fortnight ago. Stephenson, aged 37, is a member of the Otahuhu Amateur Athletic Club.
