BEACH FOR NUDISTS
Suggestion To
Be Discussed
The question of a nudist or “free” beach in New Zealand will be discussed at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Sunbathing Association, to be held soon in Christchurch. A spokesman said such beaches, which were open to the public, were common in Europe and Scandinavia.
The association felt that in view of the gradual acceptance of its ideals in New Zealand, some firm policy should be formulated to explore the possibility of such a beach at some future date, the spokesman said.
