Permission to burn between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on suitable evenings will be granted on applying to your local Fire Warden or County Office to see if conditions are suitable. Persons burning must have a suitable fire break ploughed around area at least 11 yards wide. Such permission does not really relieve person burning from responsibility for any damaged caused. Such permission does not relieve the person lighting the fire from full responsibility for keeping the fire under control.
