Trout Back On Hotel Menus
"The Press” Special Service
WELLINGTON, Dec. 21
Trout may now be served on hotel menus under a special arrangement agreed to by the Minister of Marine (Mr Scott).
Guests in hotels may offer their catch to the licensee to place on his menu for serving to other guests.
Trout is believed to have featured by this means during the breakfast menus of both the Wairakei and Tokaanu hotels of the Tourist Hotel Corporation as well as a number of other hotels in the Taupo and the Rotorua lakes districts.
