(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The request of Federated Farmers to the Government to introduce legislation authorising a levy on main farm produce to be applied to financing representations and negotiations on behalf of all farmers has been deferred as it is understood the federation is now considering alternative means of providing finance. The Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys) gave this information to Mr A. McCready (Govt., Otaki) in the House of Representatives today.
