Three Cyclists Injured

Three girls, on two bicycles, were injured in separate accidents yesterday. Miss Patricia Butterfield, of 10 Walcott street, and Miss Jennifer Balloch, of 81 Spencer street, fell off the same bicycle in Olliviers road about 2.35 p.m. Miss Butterfield was unconscious when taken by a St John ambulance to the Christchurch Hospital. She was admitted, suffering from concussion and facial abrasions. Her condition last evening was reported to be fairly satisfactory. Miss Balloch suffered leg injuries and was treated at the hospital and discharged. About 5 p.m.. Miss Barbara Kissel, of 44 Ham road, fell ifrom her bicycle in Riccarton road. She suffered facial lacerations and was discharged after treatment at the Christ'church Hospital.
