Melbourne Wool Again Declines

Melbourne woolbrokers report that compared with the opening of the current wool sales series on Monday the market for Merinos during the week declined 2J per cent with quality and stylish wool most affected. Comebacks and crossbreds showed a decline of 2J to 5 per cent. Main buying strength came from Eastern Europe, supported by Japan, United Kingdom and local mills on suitable types.
