Moore Ends Losing Run
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) , SYDNEY, November 8. The jockey, G. Moore, yesterday was elven an enthusiastic reception by racegoers at Rosehili when he won the Flying Handicap on Port Fair. Port Fair (11 to 4) held on strongly to beat the fast finishing Little Nigger (12 to 1) by half a length. Royal Grey (3 to 1) was third a further half length away. The win ended a losing sequence of 17 failures for Moore, a run which has cost punters thousands of pounds. Moore rode two losers before he went to the Melbourne Cup carnival, where he rode 14 horses without riding a winner. At his only ride at Rosehill yesterday before his win on Port Fair, Moore finished second on All Regal in the Fillies' Two-Year-Old Handicap. REMINDER SPECIAL DISPERSAL sale TODAY AT 2 P.M.
