(New Zealand Press Association)

WELLINGTON, Nov. 8. The liner America recently sold to the Greek Chandris Line is expected to begin running to Australia and New Zealand in August. Chandris’s New Zealand representative (Mr P. N. Holloway) said tonight the 34,000-ton vessel would soon sail from New York to Athens where she would undergo changes which would make her into a oneclass ship. “She will be renamed the Australis,” he said. A cable message from New York said the United States Line, which owned the vessel had been paid a purchase price of 4,250,000 dollars. i
