The British Foreign Secretary, Mr Patrick Gordon Walker, unseated from the House of Commons in the General Election, is almost certain to return as M.P. for Leyton, the “Daily Express” reports. The sitting member, Mr Reginald Sorenson, aged 73, has agreed to take a life peerage. the newspaper said. Sorenson won a 7926 majority over a Conservative and a Liberal in the election.
