Death From Burns
Mr Warren Dennis Prebble, of Shirley, who died in the Burwood Hospital on Friday evening from severe burns suffered on October 29 when white spirits he was using for cleaning caught fire, was a junior mechanician in the Railways Department. He had been with the department for nearly three years. He was not employed by a firm of commercial cleaners, as reported in “The Press” on Saturday.
