Four-Day Test Planned
(N.Z. Press A»sn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Nov. 2. Pakistan will play a fourday cricket test against Australia, in Melbourne, from De cember 4 to 8, the secretary of the board of control, Mr Alan Barnes, said today. The board had confirmed the proposed visit to Australia of the Pakistan cricket team which also would tour New Zealand, he said. The Pakistan tour of Australia will involve three match against State teams, each of three days’ duration, and the four-day test in Melbourne. The programme is:— November 27, 28, 30 v. Queensland, In Brisbane.
December 4,5, 7, 8 test v Australia, in Melbourne.
December 11, 12, 14 v. New South Wales in Sydney. December 18,19. 21 v. South Australia in Adelaide.
