Fishermen 'I n Error’
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. Fishermen were making an error in criticising the Government for allowing a Japanese patrol boat to supervise Japanese trawlers off New Zealand, the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight. Gisborne fishermen at a meeting yesterday said the Government was making an error in letting the duties of the Nr~y be usurped. Mr Holyoake said the vessels would remain outside the three-mile limit and would not usurp the duties of the Navy or Air Force.
