HOON HAY FAIR
Highland Dancing Results Strong winds made dancing difficult at the Highland dancing competitions held at the Hoon Hay School fair. The judge was Mrs K. Hood. Results were: Highland Fling.—Under eight years: Penelope Thomson 1. Jillian Thomas 2, Cheryl Lethaby 3. Under 10 years: Faye Marriott 1, Penelope Thomson 2, Jenette Mackie 3. Novice, under 12 years: Suzanne Pugh 1. Lynne Green 2, Christine Carr 3. Under 12 years: Annette Dugan 1, Heather Croy 2, Jocelyn Hay and Sandra Thomas (equal) 3.
