WEST ARM COOKS
Agreement Reached The management committee of the New Zealand Hotel Workers’ Federation met representatives of the West Arm access tunnel contractors, Morrison-Downer-Fletcher in Wellington yesterday, said the federation’s national president (Miss D. De Lany) of Invercargill, in a telephone interview. The meeting, she said, discussed wages and conditions of cooks and kitchenhands employed at West Arm. A new computation agreed to, she said, would also provide an additional increase for the catering staff on the West Arm job. >
