Kindergarten Ball
Two hundred and seventy guests attended the annual ball of the Christchurch Free Kindergarten Association, held at the Hel Hei Country Club recently. They were welcomed by Mrs G. D. Bartram, chairwoman of the organising committee. The guest of honour was Mrs A. Stephens, president of the association. Kindergartens represented included Fendalton, Hornby, Cashmere, South Brighton, Shirley, Lady May, Beckenham, Mairehau, Rutland street, Sumner and Hei Hei.
