New Teaching Methods

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON*, Sept. 9. Experimental teaching methods were being watched both in New Zealand and overseas, said the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) in the House this afternoon. He had been asked by Mr B. P. Macdonell (Opp., Dunedin Central) if he had seen a report that a Christchurch teacher had obtained amazing results using an epidiascope and special text books.

Whether schools could get grants for the purchase of such equipment would depend on the success of experiments, Mr Kinsella said.
