Malaysia’s Views ‘Fully Understood’

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, September 10. The Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, said last night he believed the uncommitted countries of the world were understanding more fully Malaysia’s point of view in her dispute with Indonesia.

The Prime Minister answered questions after meeting informally with journalists at his London hotel.

During his stay in London he is seeing members of both the Conservative and Labour Parties and hopes to meet the Opposition Leader, Mr Harold Wilson, on Friday. Asked if there was any change in the attitude of the uncommitted world towards Malaysia, he said he thought that there was and that, “Truth will out because people are not all that naive.”

Mr Lee said it should be made manifestly clear that “not only will those dropping by parachute and those swim-

ming ashore on our beaches be made to account for it but also those who launched them. They can’t have started from nowhere.”
