Stipulation At Baths
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter— Copyright) GLASGOW, September 2. Youths with “beatle” style haircuts have boycotted most Glasgow Corporation public swimming baths because of an order banning them unless they wore caps or had a haircut. It had been claimed that their long hairs were choking the filters of the baths. Most baths officials in the city said tonight that no longhaired youths had turned up. At one baths an official said that one or two had arrived “and purchased caps.”
