Homemakers’ Meet.—Mr E. E. Friel spoke on life in Sarawak at a recent meeting of the Catholic Women’s League homemakers’ group at Maryknoll. Mr and Mrs Friel and their five children recently returned from a twoyear stay in Kuching, Sarawak, where Mr Friel was working under the Colombo Plan. Mr Friel illustrated his talk with coloured slides. To complete the evening Miss Diane Johnson sang a bracket of songs accompanied by Mrs Joan Davies.
