Rangiora Pony Club Event

Perfect sunny conditions made an enjoyable day for the 56 competitors at the Kansiora Pony Club’s annual one-day event at Claxby. The cross-country course was simple and ideal for young horses and riders. Lack of judgment by the riders caused most of the penalties as the majority of the fences could easily have been jumped from the trot. The show jumping phase concluded the event. Class 2.—14-10 years: Juliet Davis, Bow Bolls, 52.53. 1; Barton Reed, Chocolate Soldier, 53, 3; Susanne McCready, Black Mischief, 57.8, S. Class 3.—17 years and over: Jennifer Richardson, Buster. 36.0, 1; Diana Reid, Summers End, 40.3, 2: Helen Spencer. Bower, Secret, 52.4, 3. Bangor Cup: Rlccarton-Fendal-ton Pony Club.
