CHECKING THE OGO-A SPACECRAFT.—The Orbiting Geophysical Observatory, which is scheduled to carry 20 scientific experiments into orbit shortly, being prepared for an integrated systems check at Cape Kennedy, Florida. OGO-A will make scientific measurements and observations in the earth’s atmosphere, the magnetosphere, and in interplanetary space beyond the influence of the earth’s atmosphere.
