House Sold For £8950
Offered on account of the estate of Mark Armstrong, a two-storey house of brick and wood, with a slate roof, at 344 Gloucester street was sold for £8950 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr Ray Simes. More than 30 persons attended the sale. The house has four bedrooms, sunroom, lounge, liv-ing-room. kitchen, hall, bathroom and laundry. There is also a garage for two cars on the section of two roods 12.1 perches, which is zoned residential B. The initial bld was £7500. There were four blds of £250 three of £lOO, and three of JESO. A two-storey bungalow at 180 Bealey avenue was passed in at £5500. The property was offered on account of the estate of Richard J. McGee by Mr E. G. Keenan. The house has a lounge, dining-room, three bedrooms, sunroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and laundry. There are also a garage and a shed on the section of 14.5 perches.
