ST. THOMAS’ HOSPITAL, LONDON, on the south bank of the Thames facing Parliament, is being rebuilt, over a period of 10 years, at a cost of £13,000,000. The central 12-storey block, containing 820 beds and a number of laboratories, will be completed in about a year. The adjoining four-storey block is for outpatient reception.
