Multi Listing Sales Rise

Although listings for July at 100 were slightly lower than usual, sales showed a marked increase at 56 or 56 per cent of listings, says the newsletter of the Multiple Listing Bureau of Christchurch.

In the four months to July 31, listings totalled 473 against 544 for the same period last year. However, sales increased in the same period, from 227 last year to 255 this year. The percentage of sales to listings in this period increased from 41.8 to 53.9.
