Sir, —In reply to Mr Bryce, it is long past the time for both concerns to stand on their own feet and pay their own way. Would Mr Bryce employ and pay wages unless there was a clear return. Reminds me of a quotation about a man saving to hand on to his descendahts so that they will not have to go through “what made, a man of him.”—Yours etc., BY THE WAYSIDE. August 27, 1964.
