Sir, —I humbly suggest straightening the river sufficiently from the Fendalton road bridge to the Harper avenue-Bealey avenue bridge. Form the motor-way alongside the river and give back to the park the . present Harper avenue and part of Helmore’s lane from the bridge to Harper avenue.—Yours, B. B. WOOD. August 31, 1964.
