Enright (Southland) beat G. Duff (Manawatu). 6st llb-6st 61b: M. Duff (Manawatu) beat J. Snook (Hawke’S Bay). 6st 61b-6st 111 b :C. Ploughman (Wellington) beat T. Williams (Patea). 6st lllb-7st 2lb: K. Phelan (Stratford) beat W. Rolls (Feilding). 7st 21b-7st 71b: T. Allen (Gisborne) beat P. Ardley (Otago), on a split decision. 7st 71b-7st 121 b: B. Bell (Greymouth) beat K. Rice (Central Hawke’s Bay), on a split decision. 7st 121b-Bst 31b: A. Donaldson (Southland) beat L. Leedon (Otago). Bst 31b--Bst 81b: B. Clay (Gisborne) beat B. Forde (Oamaru). Bst 81b-9st: R. Herekiuha (Waikato) beat E. Templeton (Southland), on a split decision. Light weight: D. Baker (Southland) beat M. Treacey (Hawke’s Bay). Light welter-weight: D. Uatuka (Gisborne) beat R. Timu (Hawke’s Bay), on a t.k.o. Welter-weight: M. Gilmore (Feilding) beat J. Duncan (Gisborne).
