LONDON, July 2L First tests over difficult Yorkshire country have shown that the delivery of day-old chicks by parachute to avoid delays caused by road congestion is “entirely feasible,” says the “Guardian.” It states that only the bottom box in a container designed for dropping 400 chicks from 500 ft has been slightly damaged in dummy runs. It is expected that this damage will be eradicated before chicks take the place of their simulated weight In the boxes.
