ROLLS CO. CRASH

Tycoon Back InU.K. (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, July 19. Mr John Bloom, the 31-j’ear-old British business tycoon, whose multi-million washing machine empire crashed last week, returned to Britain today after nearly 48 hours of speculation about his whereabouts and plans. He refused to make any statement to reporters. One of his assistants said there would be no statement until after a meeting of the board of Mr Bloom’s Rolls Razor Direct Sales Company tomorrow.

The decision to wind up the company was made while Mr Bloom was in Bulgaria. The decision was announced on Friday and no British reporter was able to reach him until today. The pilot met them there on their arrival on a Bulgarian Airlines flight from Belgrade. The pilot of tha private plane told reporters: “They appeared to be hearing the news for the first time. Mr Bloom was obviously deeply concerned.”
