Supersonic aircraft are not likely to, have any impact on Tasman Empire Airways’ routes till eight or 10 years after T.E.A.L.’s new DCB’s go into service, said the Minister of Civil Aviation (Mr McAlpine) today. Replying to Mrs E. Tombleson (Govt., Gisborne), in the House of Representatives, Mr McAlpine said progress in aviation developments was being closely studied by the Civil Aviation Department and by T.E.A.L.
