No Work For Some Men
Mote than 400 watersiders who reported for work at Lyttelton at 8 a.m. yesterday went jobless because of lack of shipping in port. The only vessels working cargo were the Waitaki, Rangatira, Hotunui and Navua.
An inter-colonial trader, the Waipori, arrived last evening and several vessels are due today so that the position is expected to imI'ove rapidly. -•
