Motor-Cyclist Injured

V. Gardiner, aged 17, of Christchurch, fell off his motor-cycle in Mount Pleasant road, near the Summit road, yesterday afternoon. A St John ambulance was called at 6.16 p.m. Gardiner, a member of the crew of the Rangatira, was lying unconscious on the roadside, but recovered consciousness while being taken to Christchurch Hospital. He suffered head and leg injuries. His condition last night was reported to be satisfactory.
