Sir, —I was deeply interested in the critic’s reply to “Layman." Can anyone, including critics, dare classify painters into clear groups since Delacroix Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, which includes many famed masters of art, none of which have been classified into clear groups?—Yours, etc., SO-CALLED PRIMITIVE. July 1, 1964.
