Competition For Games
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 1. The Japan P.E.N. will hold a competition for an original, unpublished poem, play, essay or short story on a Japanese theme .to commemorate the Tokyo Olympic Games. The winner will receive 1000 United States dollars and. the four runners-up 500 dollars each.
The competition is open to non-Japanese nationals and any aspect of Japan can be dealt with. Entries should not exceed 6000 words.
The competition will close on December 20.
