Gaoled For Meat Thefts

AUCKLAND, June 30. Two freezing workers who stole meat from R. and W. Hellaby, Ltd., and offered it for sale to an Epsom restaurant were yesterday gaoled for nine months by Mr R. M. Grant, S.M. Donald McEwin Thile, age ’ 32, and William Arthur Elsegood, aged 29, had previously admitted stealing meat worth £l2O.
