Mr Rhind On Committee
All the sitting members of the committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club who sought re-election were elected, and the only new member is Mr F. K. Rhind. The result of the ballot was announced at the annual meeting of the club yesterday. In addition to Mr Rhind. the following form j the committee, Messrs J. B. Douglas-Clifford. H. H., Elworthy, J. A. G. Fulton, i D. C. Gould, H. D. Greenwood, G. H. Grigg. J. H. Grigg, P. D. Hall. W. R. Lascelles. T. B, Morten and B. G. Rutherford. The unsuccessful candidate was Mr M M Hibbard The election for stewards resulted in the following being elected:—Dr. J. M. Loutsson. Messrs P. P. L. Dillon, W. G. Quirk and R. A. Young. Dr. Louissan and Mr Quirk are new members Unsuccessful candidates were Messrs W. D. OrbelL E. G. Rutherford. E. D. R. Smith and J. H. K. Woodhouse. Mr D. W. J. Gould was rejected unopposed as honorary treasurer.
